Attic Conversions
Interior Plaster Work
Skimming – plaster application, finishing and polishing to a high standard on straight surfaces, arches or curves.
Bonding – preparatory work on rough and uneven surfaces for a skimmed smooth and flat finish.
Sand and Cement Floating – applied to the block walls inside the building, leaving the surface level and ready for a skimmed finish.
Dry Lining – insulation slabs applied to the inside of external walls, taped or skimmed according to clients’ needs.
Coving and ceiling roses – Cornice and coving is a very stylish but inexpensive way to finish a room. Alternatively decorative wall/ceiling finishes such as combing and stippling can add a bit of elegance. Ceiling Roses around lights can create an excellent feature and add some ambience.
Exterior Plaster Work
Plain Finish – a flat surface finish using a fine sponge to leave a clean finish.
Nap Finish – a stipple effect finish textured with a sponge float for a rough effect.
Old Cottage Effect – blobs of sand and cement starting at ground level and working upwards.
Sand and Cement Finish – finished in white or the standard grey.
Dashing
Dry Dashing – A coloured stone of choice thrown into a white sand and cement background.
Wet Dashing – A mixture of stones, cement and lime applied to the wall as a wet mixture.
Scaffolding
Scaffolding is supplied, erected and removed on completion.
Own teleporter available with driver for roof loading, floor screeding, or general moving or lifting.
Home Insulation
Application of insulated plasterboard to the interior of external walls in the new-build and existing older structures.
Rockwool insulation placed between joists and studded partitions for sound insulation.
Attics and ceilings insulated with both wool and/or aeroboard/Kingspan urathane board.
